I've not celebrated Hanukkah in a long time. Or any other holiday, for that matter. But I'm not opposed to it. Will you be celebrating?

i don't celebrate it since i lost my brother , ok ? but i will share it with you. february 10.

i don't know if i will. it's a little hard to keep track of time with everything that happens here. but maybe. all this snow and the cold makes me feel like something is missing. like rugelach. bonus question: do you want rugelach ?

i am planning to make some , yes! i couldn't find raisins , but my roommate and i made some fruit jams recently and i've preserved some for exactly this reason. i got cocoa powder , too. maybe i'll get lucky and find chocolate bars in one of the diffusion zones.

but... this response comes a little delayed, as she hadn't expected him to be on board with 'participating' in making them. it takes her a few seconds to turn the idea around in her head, to think, i'd really like that. )

give me a few days to get the recipe written down. i'm not good with the measurements , so my roommate will help me with that. would you like to come over ? we have a small baking oven. i could go to yours if it's easier.

if you happen to find actual chocolate bars between now and when we meet , that would be the best. i live with a lot of people so don't be surprised if you see a mess. i'll find a time when they're not around so it's not awkward or anything.

yes. i'm going to see if i can find a few more ingredients in the holiday market people have been talking about.
so maybe at some point after that.

The diffusion zone, you mean? I hadn't thought of that. We've all grown used to those places being more dangerous than anything else, I think.

i'm afraid my boss beat you to it. she asked me and another employer to go with her to help set up on the first day. the thrift store is having a spot to sell things.

unless you go on a different day , then i'll hitch a ride with you.
